3 . Check VGT actuator harness
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Disconnect turbocharger connector E05.
(d) Disconnect connector E01 of ECM.

(e) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 1, 3, 5 of turbocharger
connector E05 and the pin 55, 16, 15 of ECM
connector E01 respectively.

E05（1）- E01（55） ＜10 Ω

E05（3）- E01（16） ＜10 Ω

E05（5）- E01（15） ＜10 Ω

(f) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 1, 3, 5 of turbocharger
connector E05 and the ground respectively.

E05（1）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

E05（3）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

E05（5）- ground ＞ 10 MΩ

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.

No > Maintain or replace the harness.

4 . Replace turbocharger
(a) Replace turbocharger.
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Check whether DTC exists.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>Replace turbocharger.
