Description
1 . The preheat DOC inlet temperature sensor is an intelligent device that conveys
the value to ECM via the J1939 data communication interface.The preheat DOC
inlet temperature sensor performs autonomous diagnosis and reports failure to
the main engine ECM using the J1939 data communication interface.The preheat
DOC inlet temperature sensor is permanently fixed on the postprocessing preheat
DOC temperature sensor module.They work as a single unit and cannot be
replaced separately.The preheat DOC inlet temperature sensor is used by the
ECM to monitor the engine exhaust temperature into the preheat DOC.
