04-300 DIAGNOSTICS - ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM

(a) Check whether the air/ air Intercooler leaks.
(b) Check whether the air/ air Intercooler pipe or hose is damaged or not.
(c) Check whether the air/ air Intercooler clamp is loosen.
(d) Check whether there is any damage to the appearance of the intake manifold pressure
sensor.
04 (e) Check whether the turbocharger control valve is damaged or not.
(f) Check whether the turbocharger control shut-off valve is damaged or not.
Is the inspection result normal?

YES>To step 3.
NO>Check the fault location.

3 . Replace turbocharger
(a) Replace turbocharger.
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Check whether DTC exists.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>Replace turbocharger.

NO >To step 4.

4 . Replace ECM
(a) Replace ECM.
(b) Use a diagnostic apparatus to perform DTC verification procedures.
(c) Implement the steps to read sensor data stream.
(d) Verify that no DTC exists and the data are normal.
