• Disconnect the clip on the canister
solenoid valve 2 subassembly ( arrow
direction ), and move it aside.

(h). Remove the front cover. 12C
(i). Remove the vacuum pump.
(j). Remove the high-pressure oil pump bracket.
(k). Remove the timing chain.

(l). Remove the valve chamber cover.
• Remove these26 valve chamber cover
fixing bolts ( arrow direction ).
• Remove the valve chamber cover.
PROMPT:
•If the removal is difficult, use a rubber hammer to
knock the cover slowly.
•When detaching parts, prevent the bonding face
and adjacent parts from being damaged by
fuwx12C008 tools.

2. Install the valve chamber cover
(a). Use the sealant scraper to remove the
residual sealant on the valve chamber
cover.
