(l). Remove the exhaust VVT.
• Fix the exhaust camshaft, and then
remove the VVT fixing bolt ① and
2 exhaust VVT ② .

4. Check the camshaft 12C
(a). Check the appearance.
Check the camshaft bearing opening and the cam surface for scratches; if any,
rectify or replace the camshaft.

(b). Check the camshaft journal.
Use the external micrometer to measure
the diameter of the camshaft journal.
