(t). Remove the cylinder head.
•Remove these 10 cylinder head fixing

6 1 bolts and the cylinder head in the
10 5 sequence as shown in the figure.

(u). Take down the cylinder gasket.

7. Check the cylinder head
(a). Check the planeness of the cylinder head.
Use the knife straight edge and the
clearance gauge to measure the planeness
of the cylinder head.

Measurement item Size (mm)

Planeness of cylinder head 0.04

If not within the specified range, replace

the cylinder head.
