12C-18 ENGINE MECHANICAL SYSTEM - CYLINDER HEAD SYSTEM

(l). Install the camshaft.
(m). Install the valve chamber cover.
(n). Install the timing chain.
(o). Install the front cover.
(p). Install the turbocharger subassembly.
(q). Install the intake manifold.
(r). Install the cylinder head water outlet connector subassembly ( for the longitudinal
engine ).
(s). Install the cylinder head water outlet connector subassembly ( for the horizontal
engine ).
(t). Install the upper small coolant pipe unit ( for the longitudinal engine ).
(u). Install the upper small coolant pipe unit ( for the horizontal engine ).
(v). Install the high-pressure oil pump bracket.
(w). Install the vacuum pump.
(x). Install the fine oil-gas separator.
(y). Install the ignition coil.

9. Remove the valve mechanism
(a). Remove the cylinder head.

(b). Use the valve spring compression tool to
compress the valve spring and take out the
valve collet ( arrow direction ).

(c). Remove the valve spring upper seat ① ,
1 valve spring ② and valve ③ .
