4. Install the crankshaft rear oil seal unit( for
the longitudinal engine )
(a). Install the crankshaft rear oil seal unit and
the crankshaft rear oil seal unit fixing bolt (
arrow direction ) and tighten the bolt with
the torque of 9 ± 1.4 N•m .
PROMPT:
• Apply a suitable amount of Loctite 5970 sealant
onto the crankshaft rear oil seal unit.
fuwx12C068 •The crankshaft rear oil seal unit must be
installed within 5 minutes after the Loctite
5970 sealant is applied.

(b). Install the flywheel assembly.
(c). Install the clutch pressure plate assembly.

5. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal unit ( for the horizontal engine )
(a). Remove the flywheel assembly ( for the horizontal engine ) .

(b). Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal unit.
• Remove these 8 crankshaft rear oil seal
unit fixing bolt ( arrow direction ) and
crankshaft rear oil seal unit.

6. Install the crankshaft rear oil seal unit ( for
the horizontal engine )
(a). Install the crankshaft rear oil seal unit and
the crankshaft rear oil seal unit fixing bolt (
arrow direction ) and tighten the bolt with
the torque of 9 ± 1.4 N•m .
PROMPT:
• Apply a suitable amount of Loctite 5970 sealant
onto the crankshaft rear oil seal unit.
fuwx12C070 •The crankshaft rear oil seal unit must be installed
within 5 minutes after the Loctite 5970 sealant
is applied.

(b). Install the flywheel assembly.
