LUBRICATING SYSTEM
NOTICES
1. The hot engine and hot engine oil may cause serious scalds.
2. The use of engine oil containing potential hazardous pollutants may lead to the
skin lesion. The lont-time exposure to the engine oil may cause skin damages. If
the engine oil is splashed onto the skin, immediately wash it off with clean water.
Therefore, proper skin protection measures must be applied when servicing the
engine.
3. If a lot of metal chippings or fine particles are found when servicing the engine, it
reveals that the crankshaft or connecting rod bearing may have been damaged. To
prevent continuous damages, execute following work after servicing:
(a). Carefully clean the oil passage.
(b). Replace the piston cooling nozzle subassembly.
(c). Replace the engine oil cooler.
(d). Replace the engine oil filter subassembly.
(e). Change the engine oil without exceeding the maximum mark, which may otherwise
damage the three-way catalyzer.
4. The old engine oil shall be disposed by the specialized organization in accordance
with the local applicable laws.
