ENGINE MECHANICAL SYSTEM - COOLING SYSTEM 12C-101
                 GENERAL INSPECTION

                     Warning:
•When the coolant is boiling, do not open the coolant filler cap to avoid any scald.
•The boiling liquid and steam may be injected under the pressure due to the early removal
                  of the water reservoir cover.
                 1. Check the coolant level
When the engine is cooled, check the water reservoir coolant level. The normal
coolant level shall be located between the reservoir “FULL” mark and “LOW”
mark. When the coolant level is lower than “LOW” mark, open the reservoir and
fill a little of coolant into it to increase the level to around “FULL” mark. Then
Install the water reservoir cover. 12C

                 2. Check for coolant leakage
(a). Check the engine coolant level; if the level is not at the normal position, add the
                        coolant to the normal level.
(b). Remove the coolant filler cap when the engine is cold.
(c). Fit the cooling system coolant leakage detector at the coolant filler.
(d). Use the cooling system coolant leakage detector to apply a pressure to increase it
                        to 0.4 ~ 0.6 bar
                            NOTICE:
                        The internal pressure of the radiator water tank shall not exceed 0.4 ~ 0.6 bar;
                        otherwise it may cause damages.
(e). Standard value: When the pressure reaches 0.4 ~ 0.6 bar, keep the pressure for
2min, and the pressure shall not be changed. If the pressure gauge pointer
indicates a pressure drop, it shows that the water leakage may exist in the system.
Find out the faulted part, and repair or replace it.
