• Remove the front coolant pipe
subassembly fixing bolt (arrow direction)
and move aside the front coolant pipe
subassembly.

• Disconnect the wiring harness clip (arrow 12C
direction) and remove the front coolant
pipe subassembly.

2. Check the front coolant pipe subassembly (for the longitudinal engine)
(a). Check the O-shaped ring.
•Check the O-shaped ring for wear and breakage; if any, immediately replace it.
(b). Check the front coolant pipe subassembly.
•Check the front coolant pipe subassembly for scratches, breakage or knock
marks; if any, immediately replace it.

3. Install the front coolant pipe subassembly
(for the longitudinal engine)
(a). Install the front coolant pipe subassembly
into the wiring harness clip (arrow
direction).
