(f). Tighten the intake manifold bracket fixing
bolt with the torque of 20±2N•m, and the
intake manifold bracket fixing nut with the
1 torque of 10±1 N•m in the sequence as
shown in the figure.

4. Remove the front coolant pipe subassembly (for the horizontal engine) 12C
NOTICE：
After the front coolant pipe subassembly is removed, use the plastic bag to wrap the
connection between the front coolant pipe subassembly and the thermostat housing to
avoid the entry of foreign matters into the front coolant pipe subassembly.

(a). Disconnect the wiring harness clip (arrow
direction) and move aside the wiring
harness.

(b). Remove these 2 front coolant pipe
subassembly fixing bolts (arrow direction)
and the front coolant pipe subassembly.

5. Check the front coolant pipe subassembly (for the horizontal enginee)
(a). Check the O-shaped ring.
•Check the O-shaped ring for wear and breakage; if any, immediately replace it.
(b). Check the front coolant pipe subassembly.
•Check the front coolant pipe subassembly for scratches, breakage or knock
marks; if any, immediately replace it.
