(b). Disconnect the clip (arrow direction) and
move aside the solenoid valve vacuum

1 pipe subassembly.
(c). Remove the upper small coolant pipe unit
fixing bolt ① .

(d). Remove these 2 upper small coolant pipe 12C
unit fixing bolts (arrow direction) and the
upper small coolant pipe unit.

11. Check the upper small coolant pipe unit (for the horizontal engine)
(a). Check the upper small coolant pipe unit.
• Check the upper small coolant pipe unit for scratches, breakage or knock marks;
if any, immediately replace it.
12. Install the upper small coolant pipe unit (for the horizontal engine)
(a). Install the upper small coolant pipe unit and pre-tighten the upper small coolant pipe
unit fixing bolt.

(b). Tighten the upper small coolant pipe unit
fixing bolt with the 3 torque of 9±1.4 N•m
in the sequence as shown in the figure.
