(c). Remove the thermostat housing
subassembly & water pump unit
• Remove these 2 water pump belt cover
unit fixing bolts (arrow direction) and the
water pump belt cover unit.

• Disconnect the coolant temperature 12C
sensor connector (arrow direction).

• Remove these 5 thermostat housing
subassembly & water pump unit fixing
bolts (arrow direction) and the thermostat
housing subassembly & water pump unit
(for the longitudinal engine).

• Remove these 5 thermostat housing
subassembly & water pump unit fixing
bolts (arrow direction) and thermostat
housing subassembly & water pump unit
(for the horizontal engine).
