(f). Tighten the thermostat housing

9±1.4 N•m in the sequence as shown in

the figure (for the horizontal engine).

(g). Reconnect the coolant temperature sensor
connector (arrow direction).

(h). Install the water pump belt cover unit and
the water pump belt cover unit fixing bolt
(arrow direction), and tighten the bolt with
the torque of 9± 1.4 N•m.

(i). Install the front coolant pipe subassembly (for the longitudinal engine).
(j). Install the front coolant pipe subassembly (for the horizontal engine).

22. Remove the thermostat
(a). Remove the front coolant pipe subassembly (for the longitudinal engine).
(b). Remove the front coolant pipe subassembly (for the horizontal engine).
(c). Remove the thermostat housing subassembly & water pump unit.
