27. Install the pipe joint
(a). Install the pipe joint
PROMPT:
Apply a suitable amount of coolant onto the seal
ring.
(b). Install thermostat housing subassembly &
water pump unit.
(c). Install the front coolant pipe subassembly
(for the longitudinal engine).

(for the horizontal engine).

28. Remove the water pump belt and water
pump belt driving wheel
(a). Remove the water pump belt cover unit.
• Remove these 2 water pump belt cover
unit fixing bolts (arrow direction) and the
water pump belt cover unit.

(b). Remove the water pump belt and the water
pump belt driving wheel.
NOTICE：
The driving wheel bolt is left-hand threaded.
•Use the special tool to fix the shock-
absorbing pulley unit, mount the inserter
and torque spanner, and then remove
the water pump belt driving wheel fixing
bolt (arrow direction).
