29. Check the water pump belt and the water pump belt driving wheel
(a). Check the water pump belt.
• Check the water pump belt for integrity; if damaged, immediately replace it.

30. Install the water pump belt and the water pump belt driving wheel
PROMPT:
Replace the water pump belt driving wheel fixing bolt.

(a). Install the water pump belt driving wheel
① and the water pump belt ② at the same
time.

(b). Install the water pump driving wheel fixing
bolt (arrow direction), tighten the bolt using
the inserter and torque spanner with the
torque of 10±1.5 N•m, and then further
rotate the bolt by 90° ±13.5° .

(c). Remove the special tool.

(d). Install the water pump belt cover unit and
the water pump belt cover unit fixing bolt
(arrow direction), and tighten the bolt with
the torque of 9± 1.4 N•m.
