2. Check the high-pressure fuel pump bracket
(a). Remove the high-pressure fuel pump.
• Check the high-pressure fuel pump seal ring for wear and breakage; if any,
immediately replace it.
•Check the high-pressure fuel pump for scratches, breakage or knock marks; if any,
immediately replace it.
•Check the high-pressure fuel pump wiring harness plug for damages; if any,
immediately replace it.
(b). Check the high-pressure fuel pump bracket.
•Check the high-pressure fuel pump bracket for scratches, breakage or knock
marks; if any, immediately replace it.
(c). Check the roller tappet.
•Check the roller tappet for integrity and check whether the roller can rotate; if
damaged, immediately replace it.

3. Install the high-pressure fuel pump bracket
NOTICE：
• Use a new high-pressure fuel pump bracket pad.
• Before connecting the high and low pressure fuel pipes, check the fuel pipe or joint for
damages or adhesion of foreign matters.

(a). Install the high-pressure fuel pump bracket
1 pad (arrow direction) and the high-pressure
fuel pump bracket at the same time, and
pre-tighten the high-pressure fuel pump
bracket fixing bolt.
(b). Tighten the high-pressure fuel pump
bracket fixing bolt with the torque of 9±1.4

N•m in the sequence as shown in the
figure.

(c). Fit the raised part of the roller tappet (arrow
direction) into the concave groove on the
high-pressure fuel pump bracket.
PROMPT:
Apply a suitable amount of lubricating oil into
the convex groove on the roller tappet and the
concave groove on the high-pressure fuel pump
bracket.
