17-18 COOLING - THERMOSTAT

(a) If the thermostat fails, measure the thermostat
opening temperature to determine whether
the thermostat is working properly.
(b) Hang the thermostat and the thermometer
with a range of 100°C [212°F] in water and
heat the water.
CAUTION

• Never touch a container with a
thermometer or thermometer.

17 (c) Mark the operating temperature on the
thermostat, to determine the correct
temperature range for the thermostat
installation.
CAUTION

• Thermostat must meet the following
technical specifications: 82°C [180°F] rated
temperature thermostat.

10 . Clean the gasket residue and impurities on the thermostat housing and install
a new gasket.

11 . Install the thermostat.

12 . Install the thermostat housing gasket.
