17-20 COOLING - THERMOSTAT HOUSING
THERMOSTAT HOUSING
REPLACEMENT
1 . Remove the thermostat. (Refer to "Chapter 17 Cooling - radiator, replacement")
2 . Remove the fixing clamps and disengage
connection between thermostat outlet pipe
and thermostat housing.
3 . Remove the fixing clamps and disengage
connection between the engine jacket
outlet pipe and thermostat housing.
4 . Disconnect the coolant temperature
17 sensor connector.
5 . Screw out the coolant bypass pipe fixing
bolt.
6 . Screw out the thermostat housing fixing
bolts, and remove the thermostat housing
assembly.
