17-34 COOLING - EGR COOLER COOLANT RETURN PIPE

EGR COOLER COOLANT RETURN PIPE

REPLACEMENT
1 . Drain the coolant. (Refer to "Chapter 05 Vehicle maintenance - Replacement,
coolant replacement")

2 . Screw out the exhaust pressure sensor
bracket fixing bolts, remove the exhaust
pressure sensors bracket.
3 . Screw out the EGR cooler coolant return
pipe bracket fixing bolts.
4 . Loose the connecting clamp of the EGR
17 cooler coolant return pipe and the EGR
cooler, disengage the connection of the
EGR cooler coolant return pipe and the
EGR cooler.
5 . Loose the connecting clamp of the EGR
cooler coolant return pipe and the radiator
housing, take off the EGR cooler coolant
return pipe.

6 . Tighten the fixing clamp of the EGR cooler
coolant return pipe and the radiator
housing, refit the EGR cooler coolant
return pipe.
7 . Tighten the connecting clamp of the EGR
cooler coolant supply pipe and the EGR
cooler, connect the EGR cooler coolant
return pipe and the EGR cooler.
8 . Tighten the EGR cooler coolant return pipe
bracket fixing bolts.
9 . Tighten the exhaust pressure sensor
bracket fixing bolts, refit the exhaust
pressure sensors bracket.

10 . Fill up the coolant. (Refer to "Chapter 05 Vehicle maintenance - Replacement,
coolant replacement")
