DIAGNOSTICS - TRANSFER GEAR 04-103

Diagnostic steps

1 . Check fuse

(a) Ignition Switch: ON.
(b) Check whether the fuse of the interior fuse box: F8 (20A), F26 (7.5A) is fusing or not.
Check whether the result is normal?

Yes> go to step 2

No> replace fuse

2 . Check power supply circuit of 4-drive module of electric timesharing

(a) Ignition Switch: ON.
(b) Disconnect electric timesharing 4-drive
module C040 connector.
(c) Use multimeter to measure electric
timesharing 4-drive module.
C040 Voltage between pin 13, pin 23 of C040
connectors and the ground.

Multimeter connection Standard value
C040 (13) - ground
Battery voltage
C040 (23) - ground

Check whether the result is normal?
Yes> go to step 3
No> If pin 13 of electric timesharing 4-drive module C040 connector has no battery
voltage, repair the open circuit between fuse F8 (20A) amd pin 13 of the electric
timesharing 4-drive module C040 connector.If pin 23 of electric timesharing 4-drive
C040 connector has no battery voltage, repair the open circuit from fuse F26 (7.5A) to
pin 23 of electric timesharing 4-drive C040 connector.

3 . Check power supply ground connection of electric timesharing 4-drive module
