3 . Check starting motor relay R3
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Open the engine compartment relay box and pull out the starting motor relay R3.
(d) Check whether the starting motor relay R3 is good or not.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES>To step 4.

NO> Replace starting motor relay R3

4 . Replace starting motor relay R3
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Disconnect the battery negative cable.
(c) Pull out starting motor relay R3.
(d) Disconnect the starting motor connector K006.
(e) Connect the battery negative cable.
(f) Ignition switch: ON.

(g) Use a multimeter to measure the voltage
between the pin 1, 3 of starting motor relay
R3 and the ground respectively.

(h) Use a multimeter to measure the resistance
between the pin 5 of starting motor relay R3
and the pin 1 of starting motor connector
