In the spirit of the holiday season, I am
pleased to announce the closing of the
university on Friday, December 22 to give
you more time to spend with your families
and loved ones.

I am grateful for the dedication of the Bowie
State University faculty, staff, students,
alumni and friends who work diligently to
advance the mission of the university. I
especially want to thank everyone who
played a role in welcoming our largest class
of freshman students and ensuring their
success. Your commitment makes a
difference every day.

I wish you all a joyous and peaceful holiday
season and a happy new year!
