Brockenbrough

As some of you may know, Dr. Karl
Brockenbrough is retiring as Vice President
for Administration and Finance. His last day
is January 31, 2018.

I want to commend him for his countless
hours in service to Bowie State over the
past 11 years. He has made a lasting
contribution to the university through his
astute and pragmatic approach to fiscal
management. His sound leadership has
served the university well in navigating the
difficult economic environment during the
Great Recession, planning for capital
expansion projects and managing the
university’s sustainability efforts.

We will miss Dr. Brockenbrough as he
leaves the university to spend more time
with his family. I ask you to join me in
thanking him and wishing him farewell next
week at a small reception. Here are the
