Styles P and Jada Kiss
In case you didn’t know, Styles P and Jadakiss are into the juice bar business. The LOX spitters are partial own- ers of the juice bar, Juices For Life, and have opened three (so far) in low income commu- nities that are considered food deserts.
In a mini-doc with Elite Daily, they discuss how grow- ing up in a low-income com- munity influences what you put into your body.
“Growing up in Yonkers, NY we didn’t know what was good for us,” Jada states in the be- ginning of the video. “If you
walk down the block in the hood it’s nearly impossible to find something healthy to put in your body. We were con- suming what was made avail- able to us.”
“You don’t know the options aren’t good,” Styles P added. “Those are good options to you.”
Their goal is to give their community and other neigh- borhoods healthy eating op- tions to encourage better eating.
“The juice bars are opened in the hood on purpose to edu- cate our people on health awareness,” Jada said.

Any SpongeBob Squarepants fans in the
house?
Your favorite cartoon sea crea-
ture is coming to a stage near you next year in musical form, and John Legend is just one artist who has signed on the contribute his music-making skills to the production.
And the rest of the lineup isn’t exactly child’s play, either!
According to Entertainment Weekly, David Bowie, Aero- smith’s Steven Tyler, Cyndi Lauper, T.I., and more have also agreed to offer their music prowess to the project, which will play at Chicago's Oriental Theatre starting June 7, 2016. The plan is to make it to Broad- way.
It will be interesting to hear how John Legend's sound translates into a musical based off of a cartoon.
According to a source, Ter- rence Howard’s ongoing personal drama is carrying over into his professional life.
The source claims that Howard’s role in the upcom- ing second season of “Empire” will be scaled back because of his recent divorce drama and numerous prior allegations of domestic abuse, which have resurfaced in recent weeks.
On the music drama, the 46-year-old Oscar nominee plays Lucious Lyon, the founder and CEO of Empire Entertainment. At the end of the show’s smash first season, Lucious was arrested for murder, but according to our source, it’s more than a story- line — it’s a calculated move to keep Howard on the side- lines.
“What they are doing is two- fold,” said the source. “They have him locked up so you won’t be seeing him in as many scenes. But they are bringing in so many, and I mean so many, guest stars and cameos that the average viewer won’t realize it because there is so much going on.”
Big names including
Mariah Carey, Pitbull, Chris Rock, Ludacris, Ali- cia Keys, Lenny Kravitz and Marisa Tomei have been confirmed to appear as guest stars on the upcoming season.
Other changes are also in store for the musical drama: Taraji P. Henson’s role as Cookie Lyon will be pushed

to the forefront, the insider
adds.
Howard’s off-screen
drama has become hard to ig- nore. In recent weeks, he’s been involved in a bitter battle to have his 2012 divorce settlement with his second wife, Michelle Ghent, over- turned.
Allegations of domestic abuse from his first wife Lori McCommas and ex-girl- friend May Seng Yang have also come back into the spot- light in recent weeks. Not to mention a secret divorce from his third wife, Mira Pak, which made headlines earlier this month.
Fox released the following statement saying, “Rumors that Terrence’s role in ‘Em- pire’ will be scaled back are patently untrue, as audiences will see when the series re- turns Wednesday, September 23 on Fox.”
