Marvin Gaye, III is now saying that TV’s hottest show, “Empire,” is his idea and he’s planning to sue Lee Daniels & Fox.
Marvin Gaye III is claim- ing he registered a treatment on a show called “Diamonds & Ballads” (aka “Those Sons of Riches!”) with the Writers Guild of America back in 2010.
Star Singer Talks About Racist Tweets That Brought Her To Tears

FKA twigs has opened up about the racism she has suf- fered from Twitter trolls over the last year, revealing that the abuse was so shocking that it brought her to tears.
The singer, who was born Tahliah Debrett Barnett, 27, was the subject of hateful com- ments after her relationship with Twilight star Robert Pat- tinson came to light in July, 2014.
Following the revelations that she was dating the Twilight actor, she was attacked numer- ous times on social media. But the star - who is of English, Spanish and Jamaican descent - has revealed that the moment that she struggled to cope was when the trolls started to make racist comments to one of her fans.
Twigs was replying to a fan who had tweeted a picture of himself with a friend who was dying of cancer and revealed the young woman listened to her music to cheer herself up. But soon afterwards, the trolls turned on the man and started to send a barrage of negative comments about the woman in the picture.

The stars of Straight Outta Compton” which opens in the- aters in North America on Fri- day, August 14, recently held a press conference in Los Ange- les.
Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Executive Producer, Ice Cube, Director , F. Gary Gray, and N.W.A member DJ Yella answered an array of questions about the making of the film, with Ice Cube say- ing:
“The movie shows the why, not just the where–when, but
why did we do this kind of music. People gotta under- stand that where we come from forged N.W.A.”
“It happens to be a perfect time for the movie. 26 years later, the music still sounds fresh, it’s not outdated,” DJ Yella said. “It’s keeping up with time times right now.”
Cube said the film has been a dream project of his since he started producing movies in 1995.
F. Gary praised the actors and their incredible dedication while preparing for their roles.
Legendary hip-hop group Public Enemy has an- nounced that they will be re- leasing a new live album, Live from Metropolis Studios. The album was recorded during an intimate two hour long set at a show in London, UK in front of only 125 people.
The 21-track effort, which is due out Sept. 4th, features
tracks from their nearly three- decades in hip-hop. The album will feature interviews with Chuck D, Flavor Flav and S1W and will come in CD, Blu- Ray, Vinyl and DVD format.
This announcement comes less than a month after they re- leased their 13th studio album Man Plans, God Laughs.
Tyga Loses Out In Movie Role After ‘No Show’

Last week, Tyga was to ap- pear in an indie movie, but a missing passport kept him from appearing in an urban thriller.
Tyra was supposed to shoot in “Sleight,” but could not play the villain in the movie after losing his passport.
His people stopped respond- ing to e-mails and phone calls from the producers, so they were forced to replace him at the last minute.
The rapper was allegedly stuck in St. Tropez, France, which was supposedly verified with his Instagram.

The producers of the movie were not pleased at Tyga’s no- show.
Prince’s band 3rdEye- Girl revealed he’s planning on putting out an album called HITNRUN, and now we have more info about the project - - the singer is teaming up with music streaming service TIDAL to release the effort on Sept. 7.
As it turns out, Prince is a fan of how TIDAL protects artists’ rights and signed on to release the project through TIDAL months ago when co-
owner Jay Z first launched the bold endeavor.
Prince said in a statement: “After one meeting, it was ob- vious that Jay Z and the team he has assembled at TIDAL recognize and applaud the ef- fort that real musicians put in2 their craft 2 achieve the very best they can at this pivotal time in the music industry."
Jay-Z added, “Prince has always been a visionary, a free- thinker.
Denzel Washington Fulfills ‘Dream,’ Visits Dallas Cowboys Training Camp
Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington made the trip to Oxnard, Cali- fornia to watch Dallas Cow- boys practice Saturday.
The “Training Day” star said in an interview that it was a dream for him to be at training camp and explained how deep his Cowboys fandom ran.
“First of all, I’ve been a Cow- boy fan my whole life,” Wash- ington told a collection of media at training camp. “I’m talking about Duane Thomas. I’m talking about Walt Garrison, Calvin Hill, Tony Dorsett. So I’ve been a fan for a long time. Just to be out here is just fun for me.”
He spoke with some players in the locker room beforehand and watched practice on the sideline. Washington admitted that he didn’t attend a Cow- boys game last year but joked that he wouldn’t mind sideline passes from Cowboys owner
