Lil Wayne On New Track With DJ Stevie J
Nicki Minaj Says She Is The Most Awarded Female Rapper In History
Carter Twins: Rumor Swirls About Names
Names of Carter twins rumored to be Shawn and Bea.
Rumors of Beyoncé and JAY-Z's twins' names were bound to start at some point, and it seems the first round of alleged monikers arrived last week.
Nothing has been officially confirmed by the family (or sources close to them) yet, but gossip sites are reporting that the Carters' newborn babies are named Shawn
(JAY's real name) and Bea (pronounced "Bee" like Bey- oncé).
The names remain ru- mored for now until they're officially confirmed. It's likely the twins, who were born pre- maturely on June 12, weren't even given those names at all. But if they're true, Shawn and Bea are sweet tributes to the Carter parents.
Nicki Minaj posted she has the most awards than any fe- male rapper in history.

Snag Hit In Trademarking ‘Blue Ivy’
It’s always news when Lil Wayne comes through with new music. For his latest showing, the Young Money boss joins DJ Stevie J for
the latter’s The Appreciation mixtape on a brand new record titled, “YFS,” which stands for young, fresh and shameless.
While her exes were appar- ently busy play fighting at a day party, Nicki Minaj racked up another accolade. The Queens native says she became the “most awarded” female rapper in history after recently winning an ASCAP award for her feature on Yo Gotti’s “Down in the DMs” remix.
Though she’s still await- ing official confirmation, it looks like the ASCAP trophy helped Minaj surpass Missy Elliott, who has earned 189 awards.
“Attention!! I love God,” Minaj wrote on Instagram Saturday (June 24). “Accord- ing to Universal Records, this year alone, my album cata- logue sold 325K worldwide and The Pinkprint is now at 4 Million worldwide!! Since Jan- uary, I’ve received 11 billboard entries, and yesterday with that ASCAP award, I became the most awarded female rap- per in history!!”
Minaj also noted that she topped Aretha Franklin for the most Hot 100 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 charts by a female recording artist.

Beyonce and her 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Summer, arguably the happi- est time of the year aside from Christmas, deserves its own soundtrack. As the season offi- cially shifts into warmer temper- atures, India.Arie is planning to sweep in some soothing new vibes to accompany the sunshine. After a bit of a hiatus, the singer- songwriter announced the swift coming of SongVersation: Medi- cine.
The new EP, which will be
available on all digital platforms June 30, will be a continuation for sorts from her 2013 album, SongVersation. In essence, Arie hopes that the project will bring a stillness and calm that feels very necessary in 2017.
“SongVersation: Medicine was made to be listened to in a quiet time, prayer, meditation, Yoga. My wish is that these songs bring softness, clarity, calm, and inspi- ration,” she said in a statement.
In February, Beyoncé at- tempted to trademark Blue Ivy's name to launch a series of products, but was chal- lenged by wedding planner Veronica Morales, who owns a company called Blue Ivy, ET Online reports.
The trademark was origi- nally filed by the former vice president of Bey's company, BGK Trademark Holdings, Jonathan Schwartz.
According to ET, court doc- uments show that Morales claims Beyoncé is seeking the trademark just to block others from using the name
"Blue Ivy," not because she believes the singer actually intends to use the name for business-related reasons her- self.
Beyoncé's legal team re- quested to have the case thrown out, but a judge has granted Morales' motion to hear testimony from Schwartz regarding the issue. This is where things get complicated, however, since Schwartz is currently facing six years in jail for an embez- zlement case involving Ala- nis Morissette.
