LUNCH TIME READERS PARTICIPATE IN BEALSVILLE CELEBRATION
Last month, members of the Bealville Community celebrated their anniversary with a series of events, ranging from de- scendants, students, churches in the community, and all other aspects. The Bealsville community was founded by 12 former slaves at the end of the Civil War. Among those participating in the 150 Anniversary of Bealsville were members of the Lunch Time Readers. Shown in this photograph are: Gloria Young, Pat Hilliard, Virginia Bland, Essie Coleman, Patricia Malphus, Maxine Davis, Irene Branhann, Kathy Mitchell, and Yvonne Taylor.
