Wine Appreciation (WAG)

It was the party of the year said by many! The Wine Appreciation Group Steve Lengyel
celebrated “Dazed & Confused” ~ A Tribute to Woodstock 50 Years running the
Later”! Street Tacos, Ding Dongs, Twinkies, Cheese Wiz and Ritz were Trivia Taxi at
just a few of the goodies! Music of the era was provided by DJ Nick and last year’s
dancing ensued! Our winners for the Best Dressed were: Third Place, Open House.
“The Gale Band”, Second Place, Brian & Sharon Ziel, and First Place,
Joe Wicker! The event was hosted by Jeanne & Scott Smith & Brian &
Dee Parry, and assisted by Dave Powel, Richard Wong, Phil Washburn, Visit them

SURVEY SAYS! Coming soon to your email is our annual WAG
Survey. We depend on the survey to tell us (your Administrator &
Steering Committee) what is working, what we need to improve, and
your ideas for the next year’s WAG! We appreciate your input!
Just a couple of reminders while using Sign Up Genius ~ When there two
or more of you, you need to change the QTY to reflect the number in
your group (You are allowed to sign up yourself with 3 others). Please
list your guest(s) first & last name. If you don’t change the QTY, it only
reflects 1 person. Also, once you have signed up, please do not go in and
change or delete your reservation. Either email or call me (Helen).
It is much appreciated that if you have made reservations for an event
and are unable to attend to PLEASE let the HOST know or Helen know.
Even if you have paid, or if it is a ‘last minute cancellation’, we have
prepared and counted food items for your reservation. With a known
cancellation, we can accommodate someone on the wait list or make
adjustments to the food and/or wine servings. As a reminder, there are
no refunds due to the purchases based on attendance count made prior to
the event.
One additional reminder ~ We always set up two separate dates for you
to pay for the WAG Event. Please note, that we do not take payments at
our homes (or left under our door mats) as there is no proof the payment
was received. Also, the Club is not responsible for collecting for WAG
Events. If you are unable to make the dates to pay, please let the Host or
Helen know and we will make other arrangements to collect your
payment.
