William John Richmond passed away peacefully at
                 Lakeland Long Term Care, on Monday, June 19th, 2017.
                 Age 87 years.  Devoted and loving husband of the late
                 Betty Jean (Perks) Richmond. Best Dad that six girls
                 could possibly be blessed with. Loving father of Shelley
                 and Dennis Wellman; Cheryl and Phillip Mack; Debbie
                 and Les Hill; Pamela and Cliff Jordan; Marilyn and Jon
                 Fuller; and Jennifer Greer. Wonderful loving ‘Bop’ to his
                 18 grandchildren: Casey and Colleen; Geoffrey,
                 Elizabeth, Graeme and Jillian; Jeremy, Sarah, Matthew
                 and Ashley; Lyndsey and Bear; Katie, Emily and
                 Bethany; Samantha, Jessica and Heather; and 14 great
                 grandchildren. Dear only son of the late Argyle and
                 Wilma Richmond. Fondly remembered by his nieces,
                 nephews, other relatives, church family and friends.  Bill
                 was a committed member of St. Andrew’s since July 12,
                 1952, serving in several areas of ministry including that
                 of Treasurer for many years.  He was dearly loved by his
                 church family. As expressions of sympathy, donations to
                 St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, or the charity of your
                 choice would be appreciated.


                 Annual Church Picnic, Sunday, September 10 ~ 2-6
                 p.m.:  This summer we will be celebrating the warmer
                 weather at the picnic shelter, Oastler Lake Provincial
                 Park, just south of Parry Sound.  This picnic will be
                 potluck, so no one has to work over a hot BBQ.  We ask
                 each family to bring a main dish, a plate of cookies or
                 squares, beverages, lawn chairs, and if you feel like
                 playing some games the right equipment, i.e. baseball,
                 frisbee, etc.  The cost for entry to the park is $14.50 per
                 car.  Please indicate if you are coming by signing up on
                 the Bulletin Board in the church lobby.
