NEGATIVITY- THE LIES WE BELIEVE & THE PEOPLE THAT SPREAD THE DISEASE
This is a 2-part strategy, this is a “HARD” process to get into, and BEYOND VITAL! Some will find
nd
the 2 difficult to do, but the more honest you are with yourself and the state of your life, even
beyond your business you will see how so much holds you back!
PART 1:
YOUR PERSONAL NEGATIVE THOUGHTS/LIES
- Write down negative things you say about yourself (1 per card or paper)
- Write down negative things OTHERS say about you
- Get a jar, label it “LIES” and put the cards in there
YOUR PERSONAL POSITIVE THOUGHTS
- Write down the positive things you say about yourself
- Write down the positive things OTHERS say about you
- Get a jar, label it “TRUTH” and put the cards in there
The typical person will have far MORE negative cards in their jar than the positive ones!
Each week, take time to revisit the LIES & TRUTH jars.
When you NO longer say the negative things about yourself, and when you NO LONGER believe
in what others say, you remove the card.
After reading the negative, be sure to read all your positive cards!
Now add “new” negative ones you realized about yourself and others, and add new positive
ones as you go along.
If you truly work the process as time goes on, the negative cards will slowly, but steadily
become less, as your positive cards will grow!
PART 2:
Negative people! Family, “friends”, co-workers, Facebook Friends, etc.
“THEY” say you are the accumulation of the 5 people you spend the most time with.
