Lord in the beginning you commanded, let there be

light and then light appeared. There is importance in
the light, there is authority in the light and when light
is present, darkness is dispelled. The light shines in
the darkness and darkness can never overtake light,
light will always win in the battle of lightness verses
darkness.

Lord, your Word says that we are the light of the world and that a light cannot be hid. Allow the light
that has been placed in me shine for the whole world to see. Allow me to be set apart and estab-

lished in who You created me to be. I declare that any form of darkness that comes to hinder my life
shall be dispelled by the true light, your precious and Holy Word.

Lord, your word is a lamp to guide me and a light to illuminate my path so darkness cannot sneak up
on me. Because of who I know You to be, a great protector; You bring me warning and You lead me
and guide me through trials and situations. God, I know that You are the light and there is no dark-
ness in you. Today, I choose to live in the light just as You are the light. Purify my heart, my ways, my
mind, my thoughts, and everything else concerning me so that I can be more like You.

I confess that at points in my life I was blind and I am in the need for your forgiveness. I know there
are things in my life that were not pleasing to you. There are also things in my life that occurred that
I had no control over, but Lord thank you for the marvelous light that has opened my eyes. My spirit
man has been enlightened and is seeking to serve you and please you. Allow my mind, body and
spirit to heal from the detrimental things that occurred in my life and allow me to move in
You. Allow me to move in Your purpose for my life. Allow me to shake myself loose from the chains
of bondage that tried to hold me back. I declare that today I am free in You. I declare that I will walk

boldly in the light that you have placed within me. I will walk in boldness, confidence, and in the
assurance of who I know You to be in my life. Your son Jesus came to set me free and I don’t want to
miss anything He has made a way for me to have by dealing with these dark issues that try to come
in my life.

Today, I also want to pray for my neighborhood, my city, my state, my country, my nation and my
world that these dark and evil forces that are trying to win shall fall to the power of the light that
you possess. Today, I also pray for the prayer warriors and intercessors that carry that mantel of
deliverance and often carry the heaviness of others so that deliverance can come forth. I pray that

You lift them us and don’t let them get weary, give them supernatural power to stand firm in their
assignment. There is power in prayer and we have to boldly proclaim your Word in this earth
realm. We are Your vessels here in the earth realm to carry the light and illuminate the darkness.

We pray these things in the Name of our Might Savior, Jesus Christ! Amen!
