Message from the Editor—By Erica McGraw
hen you go through the process your life is preserved. A lot of what we go through in
our lives is just a process of getting to where God wants us to be. It is through God’s
grace and mercy that we have life, but it is through our trials and tribulations that we
gain
W the strength to see the strength that God has already placed within us. In this
edition you will hear the personal testimonies of those who have endured and have come out with a
praise in their sprits, giving God all the Glory and
allowing Him to have dominion in their lives.
You will see stories of those who have given their
all and stepped into the place they knew God want-
ed them to be. You will hear the story of an over-
comer who lost much, but through perseverance
and change has gained back much more. You will
hear from a young man who has transformed his
life and even though he may still struggle from
time to time, he is still pressing toward the victory that he knows is his. Oh, the story of the of the
young lady who endured much trauma in her life, leaving behind all she knew in her past life to live
a life consecrated to Christ and the works of the Gospel. You will hear the testimony of how the
seeds were sown early in life, but has a will and desire to release those things that hinder in order to
walk in the greatness of what God has for her. Those that overcame stereotypes and low self-
esteem.
As the Lord gave me this topic, I was excited and He began to show me who to reach out to and I
am thankful to those that contributed to the success of this issue and allowed their lives to be trans-
parent for others grow and learn from. It’s not always easy being transparent, but when we can be
real with ourselves, then that is when God’s healing can overtake us and move us into His divine will
for our lives.
I declare victory over every person that shared in this magazine and that the blessing of God contin-
ue to prevail in their lives. In Revelations 12:10-11 it says, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heav-
en, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:
for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;..”
The Leader’s Corner
Pray for our pastors and leaders. They face things on a daily basis like many of us, but many times they are
left to deal with their situations on their own as well as making sure they cover their followers. It is through a
relationship with Christ that we build up our inner man and gain the strength to in this journey of life.
In addition for praying for your pastors, also pray for those whom hurt you in your life journey. There is
healing and restoration available to all. Just be mindful that forgiving does not mean you have to enter back
into the same situations that once hurt or damaged your zeal for life, but inwardly the forgiveness needs to
take place, so you can heal within.
Prayer doesn’t only change things, but it changes us. Remember to pray daily and to pray often.
