struggled in one way or another in
our lives. In this book, Life Got in
the
W Way My Babies Was Taken
from Me, author Toni Jones Tucker reveals
many of her life struggles. She opens up and
reveals many of the painful things in her past
that lead up to her children being removed
from the home. She shares about how
alcoholism and drugs abuse were present in
her family, how she ran away from home at a
young age and became pregnant at age 13.
She shares that at age 17 she is in Job Corp
in an attempt to make a better life for her and
her now three children, but due to an incident,
they were removed from her custody. She
grew up in the projects of Little Rock,
Arkansas, but at one point in her life she
ended up in Skid Row in Los Angeles.
