PART B- ADDENDUM
SITE SECTIONS
The updated site sections illustrate the high quality of the
proposals which will build on the reputation of the houses
delivered within the original Eden Meadow development
to the north. The site sections illustrate the use of local
materials, in keeping with the Kentish vernacular, as well as
the form and massing of the buildings which fit in with the
A
settlement of Newington.
The units have a generous amount of glazing to maximise
natural day light within the units and flank elevations have
windows to ensure passive surveillance of green landscape
spaces and footpaths/roads.
The farmstead cluster in the north-west of the site utilises
black weatherboarding and brick bases with detailing in
keeping with a barn typology.
