Step 2: Log into CANVAS

If you have successfully logged into WebAdvisor continue logging into Canvas.

CANVAS User ID
Your User ID (email) is the same as your WebAdvisor User Id followed by @student.napavalley.edu.
Password
Your password is the one you created for WebAdvisor.

Example

Name: Justin Timberlake & Student ID number:0252345
CANVAS User ID: jtimberlake52345@student.napavalley.edu Password: Same as WebAdvisor

Go to mynvc.napavalley.edu

1) Click on “Canvas Online”

2) Enter your User ID (email) and password

3) After you have logged in your course
Complete an Online Orientation
should appear, and your page will look like
this.
Take the online orientation session

Already logged in before and forgot your Password?

Step 1: From the WebAdvisor Main Menu, click the "I Do Not Know My WebAdvisor
Password" hyperlink.
Step 2: Click the hyperlink that says "I don't remember, reset my password"

Step 3: Type in your last name OR your Student ID or your Social Security Number

Step 4: Select an e-mail to have your temporary password sent to
Step 5: Once you receive the temporary password, return to the WebAdvisor Main
Menu and click the Log In tab at the top of the page

Step 6: Type in your username and temporary password you received in the e-mail.
The password is case sensitive so make sure to type it exactly as it appears.

Step 7: You will now be asked to create a new password. Keep in mind that the "Old
Password" is the temporary password you received. Your new password must be
between 6-9 numbers and letters
