26 TH APRIL 2018: POSTER MAKING & ORGANIC FARMING

GRADE 1: SAVE NATURE

Students were provided with cutouts of a hand, leaf etc., in which they wrote different slogans and
quotes on saving Mother Earth. This enabled them to know about the importance of protecting
Earth in different ways and developed an attitude to do the same.

GRADE 2: CARING MOTHER EARTH

Students prepared posters based on the theme “Caring Mother Earth” The posters had messages
and suggestions on how to Save Earth, Go Green, Reduce Waste etc. The aim was to sensitize
the students towards their role in addressing global environmental challenges at an early age.

GRADE 3: ORGANIC FARMING

An awareness presentation on ‘Organic Farming’ was conducted by the class teachers. Children
responded positively to the questioning session after the presentation. Teachers explained the idea
about organic farming, aims, benefits and different methods of organic farming. They gained deep
knowledge in organic farming. They were all motivated by the presentation and took an oath to
plant at least one plant at home based on organic farming.
