7 April - POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM
As a part of GIHS Positive Parenting Program 2018, well known children psychologist Miss Rosa
th
Moraes & Mr.Jay Tasanyurek visited the GIHS on 7 APRIL 2018. They addressed the parents of
children on Grade 1. The session was held in the main hall between 9.30 -10.30 AM.
The primary section supervisor Mrs. Lakshmi Venugopal introduced the dignitaries to the parents
and children and advised them to feel free to interact.
The noted children psychologists Miss Rosa Moraes & Mr.Jay Tasanyurek have been working
hard on stating the significance of spending more time with children. Both of them emphasized
the fact that children need more care , motivation and immense support from their parents.
During the session they narrated few stories and real life incidents so that parents as well as
children were enjoying the session with equal interest. This session appeared to be natural
motivating process and at the same time guiding and informative process for parents.
The session concluded much beyond the expected level. Mrs Lakshmi Venugopal concluded
session with thanks giving to the guests and participants
