19 TH APRIL 2018: DRAWING & COLOURING COMPETITION & LOGO MAKING

It was a colourful day for the primary students of GIHS. On this day the students were involved in
a drawing and colouring activity which was conducted in their respective class rooms. The
objective of this activity was to improve the motor skills and give the students an opportunity to
enhance their imagination.

Grade 1: Colouring Competition

A colouring paper with the pictures related to the theme ‘Happiness’ has been given to each
student. Each one enthusiastically participated in the competition and amazed all with their
creativity. They enjoyed the competition as it motivated them to spread happiness among
themselves.

The best 3 works were selected and were awarded merit certificates. Winners were selected
based on the neatness of the work, creativity, colour combination and overall effect.

Grade 2: Drawing & Colouring Competition

Students had a drawing and colouring competition on the topic “Monuments in UAE”, to create
awareness about the monuments of the place where they are living. Everyone participated in the
competition. Each one showed their own creativity and talent and enjoyed drawing and colouring.
The best 3 creations were selected and were awarded merit certificates. Winners were selected
based on the neatness of their work, creativity, color combination and overall effect.
