 more they (Heaven) will necessarily elevate the holiness of his    הָוֲאַגּ ירְֵבִדּ ויִפִּמ םיִאְצוֹי םיִמָעְפִלֶּשׁ[ םירִוּסֲא םירִוּבִּדִּמ
 Torah (learning) and other aspects of his holy speech.
               ךְוּרָבּ שׁוֹדָקַּה דיִפּקְַמ ,דַבְלִבּ וֹבִּלְבּ הֶאָגְּתִמ םִא וּלִּפֲאַו .זוּבָו
 By way of an illustrative example; two men appeared before the
 Heavenly Court to be judged, either for good or for bad depending    ."בֵל הַּבְגּ לָכּ 'ה תַבֲעוֹתּ" :)'ה ז"ט יֵלְשִׁמ( ביִתְכדְִכּ ,דֹאְמ אוּה
 on the way they conducted their lives.  Upon investigation they    ירְֵבִדּ םיִמָעְפִלְו ,תוּליִכרְ םיִמָעְפִלְו ,ערָָה ןוֹשָׁל םיִמָעְפִלְו
 found  that  both  men  learned  the  same  gemara,  the  time  they
 spent learning was the same and their depth of study was the    םַגּ םיִמָעְפִלְו ,םירִָבְדּ תַאָנוֹא םיִמָעְפִלְו ,תוּנָציֵל וֹא ,רקֶֶשׁ
 same.  One of these two men was accepted (into Heaven) very
 graciously and the other was grudgingly accepted.  This second    םֵשׁ יוּצָמ םיִמָעְפִלְו ,הָפֻּנֲח ירְֵבִדּ םיִמָעְפִלְו ,םיִנָפּ תַנָבְּלַה
 man was astounded (by the very different way he was treated).     .לוֹדָגּ רוּסִּא ןֵכּ םַגּ אוּה זַעַל ןוֹשְׁלִבּ וּלִּפֲאַו ,הָלָטַּבְל םִיַמָשׁ
 This is the world of absolute truth (Olam Haba).  My depth of
 study was the same as my friend’s.  The time I spent and the effort    תַאָנוֹאְו תקֶלֲֹחַמ הֶז ידְֵי לַע יוּצָמֶּשׁ ,סַעַכּ ירְֵבִדּ םיִמָעְפִלְו
 I exerted learning this gemara was the same as his, and so why    רַמָאֶשׁ  הֶמַּבּ  זָמּרְֻמ  הֶז  לָכְו  .םירִוּסִּא  הָמַּכּ  דוֹעְו  םירִָבְדּ
 was there a difference (in our rewards)?  They answered him:
 “It is your own fault.  Come and see for yourself.  Your friend’s    יֵנְפִּמ וּנְיַהְו ,"יִנֵבּוּסְי יַבקֲֵע ןוֲֹע" :)'ו ט"מ םיִלִּהְתּ( בוּתָכַּה
 Torah  learning  was  glowing  (even)  from  a  distance,  but  your    .]םֶהיֵלֲע רֹבֲעַל יוּצָמֶּשׁ ,רוּבִּדַּה ַחֹכְבּ שֵׁיֶּשׁ ,םיִנָיְנִעָה יוּבּרִ
 Torah learning is completely covered by the defilement that came
 out of your mouth.  Torah spoken by a mouth tainted by sin is not    שׁדֶֹחְו .סֵנ ךְרֶדְֶבּ טַעְמִכּ אוּה ,דָחֶא ַעוּבָשׁ לֵצָנִּיֶּשׁ ןֵמַּדְּזִי םִאְו
 at all comparable to Torah spoken by a mouth that has not sinned.     וֹשְׁפַנ לַע לֵבּקְַמֶּשְׁכּ ,ןֵכּ ןיֵאֶשּׁ הַמ .לֵצָנִּי אלֹ יאַדַּוְבּ ,הָנָשְׁו
 This is true even regarding one who only sinned occasionally.
 And all the more so (is this true) about you, since you routinely    ,יַהלֱֹא' :הָלִּפְתַּה רַחַא רֵמוֹאֶשְׁכּ יאַדַּוְבוּ .הרָיִמְשַּׁה תַבוֹח
 defiled your own speech with Lashon Hara, Rechilut, lies or other    'ה וּהֵעְיַּסְיֶּשׁ ,םֵלָשׁ בֵלְבּ הֶז שֵׁקַּבְמ אוּה ,'ערֵָמ יִנוֹשְׁל רֹצְנ
 comparable speech.
               אָבַּה :):ח"ל אָמוֹי( ל"ַזֲח וּרְמָא רָבְכוּ .אְטֵחֵמ לֵצָנִּהְל ךְרַָבְּתִי

               ,אוּה ךְוּרָבּ שׁוֹדָקַּה וּהרְֵזַעַי יאַדַּוְבוּ .וֹתוֹא ןיִעְיַּסְמ - רֵהָטִּל
                                   .ןֶהָבּ לֵשָׁכִּי אלֶֹּשׁ
