DESIGN STANDARDS TO BE SUSTAINABLY
IMPLEMENTED IN HONG KONG CLINIC CENTERS
ABSTRACT
RESEARCH BACKGROUND
IAQ standard is a pivotal aspect of health and well-being in healthcare settings, thus
enhancing safety of patient and staff performance. For example, providing a sufficient
air change rate per hour (ACH) for Clinic Centres can reduce the risk of the spread of
COVID-19.

This research advocates for enhancing the existing green building standard to
