CLUBS SPREAD THE JOY AND MAGIC OF THE SEASON
STUY PARK LIONS
DONATE BLANKETS FOR “BABY SHOWER”
On November 2, 2022, Lions Sharon Shields, Denise Cranford Allen
and Kathy Chase attended a “Baby Shower,” at the local YMCA. It was
sponsored by NYPD Community Outreach Division in Coney Island,
Brooklyn.
It was well attended by pregnant moms and moms with young
children and supported by several vendors, including NYPD, Sanitation,
ACS, Early Intervention, Vision Zero, Insurance companies and a DJ
who played music.
These moms were given raffle tickets which allowed them to win
various prizes along with free give aways and informational Lions Denise Cranford-Allen, Sharon Shields, and Kathy Chase
brochures from the vendors. are proud to serve
Stuy Park Lions presented the organizer with the crochet blankets
that were graciously donated by the club. The winning parents were
able to choose a color blanket based on the sex of their child.
Lion Sharon was assigned to a table to distribute cup cakes and
water to the attendees. Wraps were also available for the
participants to eat.
