CLUBS SPREAD THE JOY AND MAGIC OF THE SEASON
ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL PARTNERSHIP:
CROWN HEIGHTS, CENTRAL BROOKLYN
& BETHANY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
On October 21, 2022, Brooklyn Crown Heights Lions Club hosted their 8th. Annual Signature Literacy Fiesta Community Project. with Central
Brooklyn Lions Club and Bethany United Methodist Church, at the church hall.
Lion Dr. Paulett Kenwood ( Chairperson, Crown Heights) was assisted by Lion Doreen Thomas (Central Brooklyn). They distributed
educational literature to inform the community about Diabetes. Lion Lavern Harrison, (Central Brooklyn) provided Vision Screening service for
the youths. Lion Diana Alleyne ( Crown Heights) conducted “Read Aloud” sessions.
It was a productive opportunity for Lions to fellowship and engage the children in the community and increase visibility for Lionism.
