Jason has over 15 years of experience providing de- sign services to various municipal clients. He has ex- tensive experience in large scale park design, com- pleting over 300 acres of park master planning and redevelopment in the last 5 years alone. Jason has also provided designs for numerous downtown rede- velopments, streetscapes and gateway treatments.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
“Arts Park”, Miami-Dade County, Aesthetics Team Lead and Landscape Architect of Record. Jason led the Aesthetics Team and was the land- scape architect of record for a 44-acre urban park development in downtown Miami. The urban park development is part of an $800M dollar Design-Build project overseen by the Florida Department of Trans- portation. Improvements in the urban park included a 20 feet wide, a 1.5-mile multi-use path, multi-use plaza spaces, concert venue spaces, community gar- dens, playgrounds, dog parks, way nding signage, sculptures and splash fountains. Infrastructure im- provements also included on street parking, pedes- trian crosswalks, and signals. This project required Jason to coordinate with multiple disciplines, includ- ing transportation, structural and civil engineers, planners, architects, surveyors and utility designers to name a few.
Cinquez Park, Palm Beach County, Landscape Architect. Jason was one of a team of designers responsible for the design, permitting, and construction phase services. Cinquez Park is located on approximately 13 acres immediately north of the intersection of Indiantown Road and Center Street in Jupiter, Florida. The Park’s development has been split into two phases. Phase I is an open space park which includes on-street parking, a small restroom/ storage building, sidewalks, gazebos, and a dog park. The future Phase II of Cinquez Park is currently planned to include a playground area, additional sidewalks, an additional gazebo, and potentially construct a treehouse in the large Banyan tree located on the property.
Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, Palm Beach County, City of Boca Raton, Landscape Architect. Jason was one of a team of landscape architects to provide improvements to this well-known park along the beach in the City of Boca Raton. Park improvements included way- nding enhancements from the park to the beach, ADA compliant pathway improve- ments, native beach landscape enhancements, and irrigation improvements.
Pine Jog Environmental Education Center and Nature Park Master Plan, Palm Beach County, City of West Palm, Project Manager. Jason was one of a team of landscape architects to develop the Master Plan and phase one improvements for this 150-acre na- ture park in West Palm Beach, Florida. Improvements included a design for a new LEED certi ed environmental education center for the site. Additional improvements included ADA compliant trails, nature trails, way- nding signage, and interactive educational elements for children, as well as native landscape improvements. All improvements were designed to meet LEED requirements.
Lantana Beach Municipal Complex Master Plan, Palm Beach County, City of Lantana, Landscape Architect. Jason provided master planning and conceptual cost estimating for this City of Lantana park along Lantana Beach, including a 400-foot boardwalk, amphithe- ater, maintenance buildings, pavilions, a concession/restroom facility, ADA compliant path- ways, lighting, signage, parking, and playgrounds.
Rolling Oaks Park Master Plan, Miami-Dade County, City of Miami Gardens, Project Manager. Jason provided master planning and grant assistance for this City of Miami Gar- den’s park, including a nature trail, recreation center, maintenance buildings, pavilions, press boxes, a concession/restroom facility, soccer/football  elds, tennis courts, a par course, vol- leyball courts, an aquatic play structure, lighting, signage, parking, and playgrounds.

Mounts Botanical Garden, Palm Beach County, Landscape Architect. Jason was one of a team of designers that provided landscape, irrigation and site amenity design for one of the County’s most visited Botanical Gardens. Improvements to the gardens included creating a tropical wetland with boardwalk structures to immerse visitors in the experience. Additional improvements included landscape and irri-
gation design as well as the incorporation of art installations within the landscape.
