BEACH VOLLEYBALL
The 2015 Pan American Games are over
for the Aruban duo Mitchell Daniel and
Eargenell de Cuba. Wednesday night they
played against the strong Venezuelan duo
Henriquez and Villafañe.
This was the best game the Aruban duo
played in the Pan American Games yet. They
gave it their all but couldn’t beat the oppos-
ing duo thus allowing them to advance with
a lot of points.
The first half of the competition concluded
with a score of 21-14, 21 for the Venezuelan
duo and 14 the Aruban duo and the second
half concluded with a score of 21-13, 21 for
the Venezuelan duo and 13 for the Aruban
duo.
The two players expressed that the technical
aspect of their game has greatly improved
but their tactical system still has a lot of flaws
and still has to be improved and they need to
be more consistent in their own game.
Even though Aruba lost all the three beach
volleyball competitions in the Pan American
Games Mitchell Daniel and Eargenell de
Cuba have a bright future ahead of them in
this sport.
