My Aruba story
ORANJESTAD — Aruba Today welcomes readers to participate in
our newspaper. Now that we are open to visitors again after the
three months of lockdown we are all ears to know about you. How
do you feel to be back or maybe this is your first time in Aruba?
Let us know! Send us a picture and tell us about your experience
because we love to share this with our readers.
What do you do?
It’s easy. Mail us your vacation picture(s) together with your
Aruba story (Email: news@arubatoday.com) and we will publish
this in our newspaper. This for sure is a great vacation memory to
take home with you.
Today we share with you the Aruba Story of Amanda Price:
“Aruba has been my home away from home and the one
guaranteed vacation away from reality I have taken for the
last 20 years! When my now husband and I started dating
this was his first trip to the Caribbean and he's been hooked
since. Every morning when I'm there I get up early to grab a
beach hut, make my morning coffee, grab an Aruba Today
newspaper from the concierge and head to breakfast. This
year we were supposed to go to Aruba in May (earlier in the
year than we usually go) to have our baby moon and last
"hurrah" since we were expecting our first child. Well thanks to
Covid like so many other people, our vacation was cancelled.
Since then I have followed Aruba Today on Facebook every
day for the latest updates about traveling & news about One
Happy Island. After having our first child at the end of August
within two weeks we were applying for her passport so that
she can start her yearly trips with us and learn to appreciate
the island and everything it has to offer.” q
