1. What to do if the patient is sent home without ostomy supplies?
Check order number on the appliance the pt is wearing and reorder one
box until assessment made, or contact manufacturer for samples
2. How does the patient get supplies after discharge?
The patient can continue with current vendor or from surgical supply
pharmacy . Teach patient how to order supplies prior to discharge
