feel sad, angry, confused, or excited? You also need to describe why the material ignites
those feelings. Another example is whether you have experienced the same issue presented

in the text article. If you have, explain how you can relate in any way with what the writer is
talking about in the article. You may also include any stories involving your friends or
neighbors you know who may be related with the issue. Additionally, you may respond to

the work by expressing your agreement or disagreement with the author’s ideas. If you are
of the same opinion with the author, for instance, elaborate on the reasons and evidence for
              being so.

Finally, you may touch on the implications of the article to your understanding of and
your perspective on a particular issue. The author often provides evidence, examples, or
information that may or may not aid you in learning more deeply about a particular issue. In
this point, you may feel that the article either helps deepen your understanding of the issue

or hinders you from boosting comprehension of the issue in question. Thus, you need to
demonstrate how much or how little the author has contributed to your understanding of
the topic. However, after reading the article, you may also realize that you have a differing

opinion about the topic. You start to look at things from a different angle. In this regard, you
need to explain how the article has changed your point of view and the reasons why this is
              significant.
                                                                                        Adapted from different sources
