With a partner, discuss the following scenarios and analyze what disease the symptoms
indicate. Brainstorm for some possible foods containing beneficial nutrition to help
reducing the symptoms.
Scenario 1.
A man in his thirties has excess fat around his waist making his figure an apple-shaped one. His laboratory
result indicates high levels of insulin and blood glucose levels. During the past view weeks, he testified to
frequently experience extreme fatigue. He can urinate more than ten times per day, and is feeling thirsty
very occasionally. He also shows some indication of blurry vision.
